About the Event
The Fleet Feet Sports Soldier Field 10 Mile presented by adidas starts outside of Soldier Field, runs through Chicago's beautiful South Side, then heads north along the lakefront path. Participants run through Soldier Field with a spectacular finish on the 50-yard Line in the center of the field.

The 2 Mile Walk takes place on the grounds surrounding Soldier Field, passing through the stadium colonnades.

After the run or walk, celebrate with your friends and family at the post-race festival!

Event Schedule
Kids Blitz | 7:15am assembly
10 Mile Race | 7:30am start
2 Mile Walk | 8am start

Start Location
East Lawn of Soldier Field (1410 S. Museum Campus Drive)

Entry Limit
The 10 Mile Race is limited to a maximum of 10,000 entrants and the Kids Blitz is limited to a maximum of 200 entrants. Registration will close once the limit has been reached.

Registration for the 10 Mile Race and Kids Blitz have reached capacity and is closed.

Start Line Corrals
The 10 Mile Race features a multiple corral start. Seeded Corrals are for participants who run 9:00 mile pace or faster and submit proof of past performance (see details below). The Open Corral is for all paces. All corrals will have pace-per-mile markers to assist participants in positioning themselves.

The intent of the corral start system is to ensure a positive race experience and provide all participants the same opportunity for a quick, smooth and safe start and sufficient room to run along the course.

As a reminder, your official time does not begin until you cross the start line. The timing system provides each participant with an accurate time from the start to finish lines.

How to Qualify for a Seeded Corral
Qualifying times for access to Seeded Corrals:
Marathon 4:15:00 or faster (9:40 pace)
Half Marathon 2:00:00 or faster (9:10 pace)
  10 Mile 1:30:00 or faster (9:00 pace)
  10K 0:55:00 or faster (8:55 pace)

Eligible times must be run between January 1, 2008 and April 1, 2010 on a USATF certified course.

Following are the four (4) ways to gain access to a Seeded Corral:

1) Qualified Past Participant: Participants who ran the 2008 or 2009 Soldier Field 10 Mile within the specified finish time are pre-qualified for a Seeded Corral. All corral assignments are pending confirmation of results.
Select online registration option: “Qualified at the 2008 or 2009 Fleet Feet Sports Soldier Field 10 Mile.
2) Submit Proof of Past Performance (for participants who did not qualify at the Soldier Field 10 Mile): Participants who did not run within the above standards in the 2008 or 2009 Soldier Field 10 Mile may still gain access to a Seeded Corral by providing details about the qualifying race (see standards above) during the online registration process.

Select online registration options "Qualified at another event, will provide details on the next page."
3) Submit Proof After an Upcoming Performance (for participants who plan to qualify before the April 1, 2010 deadline): Registered participants who wish to gain access to a Seeded Corral but have not yet completed a race within the above standards should register now to secure entry into the race. Proof may be submitted anytime between the date of registration and April 10, 2010. Details on how to submit proof of performance will be emailed once the registration process is complete.
Select online registration option: “Expect to qualify between now and 4/1/10, will submit results per instructions.”
4) Qualify at the 2010 Ravenswood Run 5K: A special option now available. Participants who run the 5K in 26 minutes or less will gain entry into a Seeded Corral. The Ravenswood Run is the only 5K time that will be accepted. To take advantage of this special offer, runners should register now for both races. All runners who register for both races and run the qualifying time will be automatically assigned to a Seeded Corral for the 10 Mile Race.
Select online registration option: “Yes. Expect to qualify at the Ravenswood Run 5K on 4/25/2010.”

Access to Seeded Corrals is limited and not guaranteed. Email entry@SoldierField10.com with questions.
